About Us
Our Journey
Living Sound Gospel Singers choir was founded in 1980 by Steven Ogwang, who met with a small group of singers in need of musical training. Steven introduced them to the basics of music and hymn singing, with iconic hymns like "I’ve a message from the Lord..." and "Chem chem" making a significant impact at The Redeemed Church Makerere and various other venues.
They have recorded hits like "Freedom Tree" and "Tunayo Furaha," ministered across Africa and Europe, and mentored new talents. Their mission to spread the gospel through music remains steadfast, guided by faith in God's grace.
Growth and Partnerships
Over the years, the Living Sound Gospel Singers ministry has expanded tremendously. We have partnered with organizations such as Wings of Hope Intl., African Evangelistic Enterprise, and Scripture Union.
Our mission has led us to perform in schools, higher institutions of learning, prisons, and open-air crusades, sharing the stage with international evangelists.
